first post.

hello everyone. well, hello no-one at the moment, as i've only just set this up, but that's beside the point. anyway, just a sort of introduction post from me.
i'm sophie, nineteen, and a fashion buying student at de montfort university, but essex will always be home. i obviously have an interest in fashion, and a tiny, tiny shopping obsession. along with the shopping obsession, i also have a bit of a boyband obsession. i currently obsess the most over one direction (harry and louis in particular), one direction and justin bieber, whose 2011 christmas album has become a revelation.
basically, i set up this blog as i originally had a tumblr account (www.longhairplease.tumblr.com) which was meant to be fashion-based, but it's gradually turned into more of a personal blog so i wanted to start something up which would remain mainly fashion-based. i intend to post photos of personal outfits, garment reviews, and probably some inspirational fashion photos from my tumblr page. and, of course, i can't promise that there won't be the odd post about boybands, especially as i'm off to see one direction, olly murs and mcfly all in the first 4 months of next year.
soo... a few facts about me. as you might have guessed by now, i have a slight dislike towards capital letters. don't ask me why, but i don't know. i also can't stand people with incorrect grammar/punctuation, i get abnormally picky about it. if i could, i would probably spend the whole of my days shopping or browsing clothes online, it's an addiction which i need to get rid of! i love to read, but i wish i read more than i did. i've just finished reading 'one day', which is the first book i've read since i got back from my holiday. i'm now planning on reading a few jodi picoult books, as i absolutely adore her writing. i personally think i get on with guys a lot better than i do with girls. i think it's because girls bitchiness can really wind me up sometimes, and i prefer how boys are much more to the point and honest about basically everything in life. i'm a very much single person (creyss), i'd say i've only ever had one serious relationship, but the guy was... well, a compete idiot. i could use stronger words, but i think i'd get carried away, so he's really put me off getting into another relationship, and i think it'll take me a while to find someone who i feel i know well enough to be with.
i can't really think of anything else to say! i'll try and post my first outfit photo tonight, as one of my best friends is having a house party due to a few of us being home from uni this weekend, so i will try my best to get something up here :)
