'A woman is helpless till her nail polish dries'

Today I bring you my ever growing nail polish collection! I don't tend to include nails in styling shots because I can never be bothered to change my nails for each outfit, so this will act as a bit of a reference point for that (plus it's killed some Saturday afternoon boredom!).

Beware - There is LOTS of Barry M here...
The whole collection

Sorry that these aren't the clearest pictures, my camera wouldn't upload so they're from my phone! The rest are better quality though. I've split them all down into colour groups too with prices and availability.

1; Barry M in 54 Clear. This is what I use as a base coat and it's the 3-in-1 base coat, top coat and hardener. £2.99 from Boots, Superdrug and http://www.barrym.com/.
2; Barry M in 66 Matt White. I use this mainly as a base for glitters and effect polishes. £2.99 from Boots, Superdrug and http://www.barrym.com/.
3; Barry M in 293 Grey. Makes a bit of a change from black all the time, and looks much nicer when accessorising with silver! £2.99 from Boots, Superdrug and http://www.barrym.com/.
4; Barry M in 47 Black. This takes at least two coats to achieve an opaque look, but leaves you with a really shiny surface. £2.99 from Boots, Superdrug and http://www.barrym.com/.
5; Barry M in 311 Nail Effects Black Crackle. This is shown here over the Matt White. The consistency does go quite lumpy and gloopy, and you need to make sure you apply it all in one coat. Does tend to rub off easily too. £3.99 from Boots, Superdrug and http://www.barrym.com/.
6; Barry M in 323 Croc Effects. Again over Matt White. Don't be fooled and think it doesn't work, it takes a good few minutes for the effect to appear. Better lasting than the crackle with a shinier finish. £3.99 from Boots, Superdrug and http://www.barrym.com/.

1; W7, Shade Unknown. I don't know as though W7 even name their shades, but this is a slightly darker shade than Barry M's Mushroom. I think this was £1.99, and was from a one-off beauty shop.
2; Barry M in 310 Mushroom. A more pleasant shade of brown than the W7! £2.99 from Boots, Superdrug and http://www.barrym.com/.
3; Beauty UK Glam Nails in 63 Cafe Culture. This is a lovely nude/peach shade with a slight shimmer to it. This was no more than £2, I can't remember the exact price, and I think it's just available in Superdrug.
4; Topshop Nails in Threadbare. The newest addition and the perfect nude shade. This leaves an opaque look with just one coat which I love. £5 from Topshop stores and www.topshop.com
5; Barry M in 320 Gold Foil Effects. This is a brilliant Christmas colour and looks fab as an accent nail to pick up hints of gold accessories. £3.99 from Boots, Superdrug and http://www.barrym.com/.
6; Barry M in 307 Lemon Ice Cream. Part of the pastel ice cream collection (which are all in here somewhere!) Takes a couple of coats for an opaque look. £2.99 from Boots, Superdrug and http://www.barrym.com/.

1; Barry M in 290 Spring Green. This is a great, bright summer colour and has a really nice matt effect. £2.99 from Boots, Superdrug and http://www.barrym.com/.
2; Barry M in 304 Mint Green. Another pastel addition. This takes at least two shades to build up some colour, but is a lovely, subtle shade. £2.99 from Boots, Superdrug and http://www.barrym.com/.
3; Barry M in 306 Blueberry Ice Cream. Yet more pastels, but this is a much more pigmented polish than the rest of the collection and takes only 1 coat. £2.99 from Boots, Superdrug and http://www.barrym.com/.
4; 2true Glossywear in Shade 48. This is a lovely shimmery baby blue shade, but does take three coats to build up a colour. £1.99 from Superdrug.
5; Barry M in 220 Retro Blue. A nice royal blue with a slight glitter to it (and free when you spend £6 on Barry M!). Also available for £2.99 from Boots, Superdrug and http://www.barrym.com/.
6; 2true Fast Dry Color Quick in No10. Classic navy shade, but does take a couple of coats for complete coverage. £1.99 from Superdrug.

1 & 2; Barry M in 332 Chameleon Lilac. 1 is the polish by itself, and 2 is the resulting shade you get when you add the clear coat. For anyone that's not aware of the chameleon polish, you apply a regular coat of the polish and once it's dry, by applying the clear polish, it changes colour. This is perfect to add an accent nail or for designs and patterns. £3.99 from Boots, Superdrug and http://www.barrym.com/.
3; Barry M in 308 Berry Ice Cream. Nearly through all the pastels! I actually first wore this when on a fashion shoot with a Cosmopolitan magazine and I fell in love. It's such a girly shade. £2.99 from Boots, Superdrug and http://www.barrym.com/.

1; Barry M in 309 Strawberry Ice Cream. Finally through the pastels! This is a really, really pale shade so takes a few coats! £2.99 from Boots, Superdrug and http://www.barrym.com/.
2; Technic in Peony Pink. This is cross between a coral and a pink, which makes for a perfect autumn tone! This was just 99p from my local Bodycare store!
3; Barry M in 305 Pink Flamingo. Another corally pink, but verging more on the pink side. This is actually the most used of all my polishes. £2.99 from Boots, Superdrug and http://www.barrym.com/.
4; Barry M in 302 Fuschia. This is the oldest in my collection and has only just started going gloopy where it's not been used in so long. The perfect Barbie pink shade! £2.99 from Boots, Superdrug and http://www.barrym.com/.
5; Barry M in 372 Raspberry. I absolutely adore this shade! I can't describe how much I love it. £2.99 from Boots, Superdrug and http://www.barrym.com/.

Here, I've done one and three shades of each polish to give you an idea of how they build up.
1; PopRocks Pink Glitter. This is the only one of my glitters that has a coloured undertone, which does mean it can't really be work over anything but pink, but it's a nice subtle shade. I found this on ebay, so if you just search Pop Rocks, it comes up in lots of shades for around £2!
2; NYC Expert Last Polish in Lights-Camera-Glitter. I love the name of this. I bought this to specifically go over the Barry M Berry Ice Cream and Blueberry Ice Cream and it looks lovely. I love that it has larger flecks of glitter aswell as the small, but you do tend to have to fish for the glitter. I think this was around £3 from Superdrug
3; Technic Carnival. So glad I bought this, it has so many colours to highlight and pick out. Again it has different sized glitter flecks. I found this for a couple of pound on eBay as it seems to be sold out in store.
4; Barry M in 142 Silver Glitter. This just has the one size of glitter but builds up really well so it can be worn on its own! £2.99 from Boots, Superdrug and http://www.barrym.com/.

If you want any more details about any of these, just ask! What's everyone elses favourite polishes?

Enjoy
xoxo.
